Lenny was born 1991 in Hameln, Germany and grew up in a small village in Lower Saxony. While at school, he bought his first camcorder and started making music videos and short films. Following several theatre internships, he studied Film Studies, Cultural Anthropology and Philosophy at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, before completing a degree in Film Directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. During this time, he primarily worked with children and teenagers, directing stories that explored the challenges of growing up in an era of constant self-expression. In addition to his work as a film director and screenwriter, Lenny now works as a graphic designer and programmer.
